Healthy peanut butter for your dog with pre & probiotics

Blue Biotic Dawg Butter has the antioxidant power of blueberries with pre & probiotics in every tablespoon. Each tablespoon is loaded with 6 strains of probiotics plus prebiotics. Ingredients: peanuts (unsalted, non-GMO) blueberries, and honey.

Probiotics for dogs may:

• Aid digestion

• Modulate the immune system

• Provide intestinal benefits by producing short-chain fatty acids, which inhibit harmful bacteria

• Treat diarrhea, irritable bowel, and intestinal inflammation

• Prevent urinary tract infections

• Reduce allergic reactions by decreasing intestinal permeability and controlling inflammation

What Are Prebiotics?

You may have also heard of prebiotics. So what’s the difference between the two? Prebiotics are types of fiber that nourish and promote the growth of good bacteria already living in the colon. In other words, prebiotics feed probiotics.

 Blueberries for dogs:

Blueberries are low in calories and contain high amounts of vitamin C, fiber, and phytochemicals (naturally occurring chemical compounds found in plants). Vitamin C and fiber are vital components of proper canine nutrition. Phytochemicals are linked to several aspects of health, including the ability to fight cancer in humans. Blueberries are also filled with antioxidants and have been shown to improve the health of animals, as well as humans.

Antioxidants, like those in blueberries, help fight free radicals, which are responsible for cellular and molecular damage in dogs and humans. As an added bonus, studies show that adding antioxidants to a dog’s diet reduces the effects of brain aging, which is great if you have a senior dog.
